Registration for Recreation Programs

Aventura ID cards are necessary to register for Community Recreation Center programs and activities, including Cultural Arts, Theater and Leisure Program, Founders Park activities and special events. Register online for any program.

All Ages

Community Recreation Center

Members have a wide variety of programs offered to them. Every month members receive a no fee calendar of free events and activities. The center also offers classes for all ages in dance, fitness, cultural & life long learning and computer classes. (Activity Brochure & Registration Forms)

Special Events

Throughout the year, the City of Aventura has exciting events for the entire family including Arbor Day, July 4th Fireworks, Halloween, Veterans Day, and Founders Day. Subscribe to MyAventura and get advance notice of these events.

Adult Programs

Community Recreation Center

Members of the Community Recreation can participate in free events and activities along with classes in dance, fitness, cultural and life long learning and computer classes.

Athletic Programs (Adult)

Adult Men Softball

Seasons run: February – May; June – August and September - December.The recreational Adult Men Softball program is for men ages 18 and older.

• Leagues are ASA registered.
• All teams must bat a minimum of ten players. Team roster size is fifteen players.
• Bases will be 65 feet.
• All games are seven innings or one hour and ten minutes. All extra innings will be played out until a winner is declared.
• There are approximately 12 games per season.

All teams must be in matching uniforms by the third game or spot the opponent two runs. Call Founders Park at 305-466-0183 for registration as a team of Aventura residents or as an individual Aventura resident. Non-residents are taken on space availability. Trophies are given to winning teams. Bat and other restrictions apply to field of play.

Basketball League

For members of the Community Recreation Center. Held in the Center's Indoor Courts.
