Wondering what to do when school is out? Register for one of Aventura's many programs during school breaks including Teacher Planning Days, Winter Camp, Spring Camp and the 8-week Summer Camp Program.

Community Recreation Center
Members between the ages of 9 - 12 have the opportunity to join the Aventura Club for Tweens (ACT Club). Meetings and activities are held monthly and in the great club, the members make the decisions!
During the after school hours, join the Cultural Arts Recreation Program and participate in activities, games, lessons and learning in the daily program from Monday - Friday from 3-6.
Athletic Programs (Youth)
Aventura Founders Park programs Youth Soccer, Flag Football, T-Ball, and Softball. All coaches are required to obtain certification through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association. For details, call Founders Park at 305-466-0183.
Youth Flag Football
Program is offered in September. Registration is $75.00 for Aventura resident. Non-residents are taken on space availability. Registration fee includes a shirt and end of season celebration. Youth 5 on 5 Flag Football program features:
- Five players on the field, with a roster limit of twelve for boys and girls ages 5-14.
- Each team starts on their own five-yard line and has three downs to move past mid-field and then three downs to score.
- Touchdowns are worth 6 points and games are played in two 20-minute halves. A running clock format is used.
Youth Soccer
The recreational Youth Soccer program runs January through March for boys and girls ages 5 - 12.
Youth soccer provides a learning opportunity to increase the child's skills, strategies and rules of soccer. Registration Fee is $75.00 per Aventura resident. Non-residents are taken on space availability. Registration fee includes a shirt and end of season celebration will be held. Participants are required to supply their own soccer shoes and shin guards.
- Goals are worth one point.
- Games are played in two 20-minute halves. A running clock format is used.
- A team consists of eleven players with a maximum of 15 players per team.
Youth T-Ball & Softball
The recreational Youth T-Ball and Softball programs run March through June. Programs follow ASA rules and guidelines. All teams must bat with a minimum of ten players. All games are 6 innings or a one-hour limit. Youth T-Ball and Softball registration is $95.00 per Aventura resident. Non-residents are taken on space availability. Registration includes a shirt and end of season celebration.

Youth T-Ball
T-Ball age players are 4 - 6 year old boys and girls. All T-ball players will have the opportunity to bat. T-ball has no ball or strike restrictions.

Youth Softball
Softball age players are 5 to 14 year old boys and girls. Bases are 55 feet for ages 7-9 and 65 feet for ages 10-13. The pitching mound will be 50 feet for both divisions.
