Dear Business and Community Partners:

- Retail Malls and all Retail Businesses
- Grooming Businesses: Hair Salons, Barber Shops, Nail Salons
- Real Estate Offices
- Commercial Offices
- Manufacturing and Factories
Note: At this time Miami-Dade County still has a moratorium on the use of pools, beaches, spas and gyms and there is no indication as of this time as to when that will change.
The following link: https://www.miamidade.gov/information/library/new-normal.pdf is the Miami-Dade County’s Phased Plan Guide for re-opening, The New Normal – A Guide for Residents & Commercial Establishments. This document is very informative and will provide you with specific guidance concerning what the next steps are for your businesses and begin re-implementing services. As you make your reopening plans and refer to the guide, please know the “bolded/highlighted” items are required, the other items are recommended. Each plan should be tailored to your specific business. The City will be monitoring and visiting establishments as we move forward to ensure you are following the practices set out in your plans. Be advised, you are responsible for making sure you are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of everyone using a service, visiting an office or just shopping. As we move into a critical juncture of this pandemic and implement a phased approach to re-opening our economy, and hopefully back to a more normal way of life, it is vitally important that we all continue to take personal responsibility for our wellbeing and protection from this virus. Our City has fared very well under the guidance of all our Elected Officials and we would like to continue with that trend. We understand that the temptation to lower our guard is ever present, but now more than ever it is important for you to continue with recommended safety practices of social distancing, frequent handwashing, and the wearing of protective masks when appropriate in public. Thank You.
