The City's code requires that all dogs, when not on the premises of the owner or the person in control of the dog, must be on a leash under control of a competent person. Furthermore, it is unlawful for any person in control of any dog to fail to remove fecal matter of the dog from any public property or any private property not belonging to the owner or person having custody of the dog. "Pooper Scoopers" are provided for use by the residents in many areas of the City. You can download a brochure and map of Pooper Scooper locations from our website.
Membership to the Community Recreation is available for Families, Couples and Individuals. Fees can be paid for six months or annually. Applications are available online, however they are only accepted in person at the Center. You will need to bring your proof of residency for Miami-Dade County.
Our "Aventura Activities" brochure is mailed out to all Community Recreation Center members and is available online for viewing. The Online Registration System allows members to register for programs using a user name and password.
The Splash Pad is open from Spring and through the Summer until September when it closes for the season.
