Community Services
The City's code requires that all dogs, when not on the premises of the owner or the person in control of the dog, must be on a leash under control of a competent person. Furthermore, it is unlawful for any person in control of any dog to fail to remove fecal matter of the dog from any public property or any private property not belonging to the owner or person having custody of the dog. "Pooper Scoopers" are provided for use by the residents in many areas of the City. You can download a brochure and map of Pooper Scooper locations from our website.

Membership to the Center is available for families, couples and individuals. Fees can be paid for six months or annually.
Memberships can be purchased exclusively online only at cityofaventura.com/ors, the City's Online Registration System (ORS).
Memberships may be purchased in person on a need basis.
