The City of Aventura Celebrates its 29th Annual Founders Day!
The City of Aventura is thrilled to invite the community to its 29th anniversary celebration of incorporation during the annual Founders Day event, taking place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gulfstream Park, located at 901 South Federal Highway. This family-friendly celebration marks nearly three decades of growth and community spirit, offering a day packed with entertainment and activities for all ages.
Join us for an unforgettable evening packed with excitement and entertainment! Marvel at stilt walkers, jugglers, and colorful costumed characters, and enjoy fun activities like airbrush tattoos, balloon twisting, Tubs of Fun, a climbing wall, and the thrilling Go Gator Roller Coaster. Get creative at interactive art and science stations, while the little ones explore the wonders of Toddler Town. Kick back under the dining tents to catch a football game on HDTVs or treat yourself to delicious bites from popular local food trucks. There’s something for everyone!
In addition to the live performances, this year’s event will shine a spotlight on the Aventura STAR, a talent competition featuring dazzling local performers on the community stage. And the excitement doesn’t stop there—our Concert Series kicks off during the festival, bringing everyone together with music and entertainment.
Event access will be located northbound on Biscayne Boulevard, with free parking available at Gulfstream Park, conveniently situated just north of the event.
Aventura Express
To ease parking and traffic concerns, we encourage attendees to take advantage of the complimentary Aventura Express Shuttle Buses, which will run from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., offering service between all Aventura residential buildings and Gulfstream Park.
Ticket Reservations
Ticket reservations are required for every individual and can be completed online only with a valid and existing account at cityofaventura.com/ors, the City’s Online Registration System (ORS). Each individual in a household will be able to reserve 2 tickets for the event. Everyone including young children and babies is required to purchase a ticket.
Tickets will be attached to your receipt upon completion of registration. In order to enter the event, you must pick up your wristbands at the Community Recreation Center PRIOR to the day of the event.
To ensure a smooth and secure check-in process, one participant from the household account is required to bring the following items:
- Valid Photo ID: Please bring a government-issued photo ID (e.g., drivers’ license or passport) for identification purposes.
- Event Tickets: Make sure to have your event tickets ready, either in printed form or accessible on your mobile device.
Please keep in mind that without both items listed above, your wristbands will NOT be distributed to you.
Wristband Pickup
Wristbands may be picked up on the following days and times.
- Saturday, November 2 & Sunday, November 3: 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Monday, November 4 – Friday, November 8: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Please keep in mind everyone entering the event MUST have their wristband on, including young children and babies.
Please remember that wristbands must be worn by every attendee on the day of the event, including young children and babies. Wristbands are non-transferable, and each ticket can only be scanned once. Registration opens on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. and closes on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
