Camps & Teacher Planning Day Programs

Wondering what to do when school is out? Register for one of Aventura's many programs during school breaks including teacher planning days, winter camp, spring camp and the 10-week summer camp program.

Registration

Registration for Teacher Planning Day (TPD) programs and camps can be completed online using the City of Aventura's Online Registration System (ORS), or in person at the Community Recreation Center, Founders Park, or Waterways Park.

Please be advised that an Aventura ID card is required to register using the ORS. Get details about obtaining an Aventura ID card.

Teacher Planning Day (TPD) Program

When school is not in session due to teacher planning days, the City offers children ages 5-14 a day-camp feel with a variety of enrichment activities such as sports, health & wellness programs, games, arts & crafts, project-based learning, and recreational activities.

Fee

The program fee for each day includes all activities, supplies and lunch at a rate of $43 for residents and $52 for non-residents.

Winter Camp

There's "Snow" Place like the City this Winter!
Celebrate winter break Florida style at the Aventura Community Recreation Center where campers ages 5-14 make new friends and enjoy a variety of activities such as sports, art, science, fitness, and much more!

Winter Camp is open to children ages 5-14.

When

December 23, 2019 - January 3, 2020
7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
(There will be no camp on December 25, 2019
and January 1, 2020.)

The program fee for each day includes all activities, supplies and lunch at a rate of $136 for residents and $163 for non-residents.

Tennis Camp at Founders Park

Campers of all skill levels may improve their tennis skills, learn tennis, and challenge themselves while having a great time on the court! Campers are required to bring their own racquet and water bottle.

Tennis camp is open to children ages 6-16.
