Wondering what to do when school is out? Register for one of Aventura's many programs during school breaks including teacher planning days, winter camp, spring camp and the 10-week summer camp program.
Registration for Teacher Planning Day (TPD) programs and camps can be completed online using the City of Aventura's Online Registration System (ORS), or in person at the Community Recreation Center, Founders Park, or Waterways Park.
For more information regarding camp or TPD, please contact the Aventura Community Recreation Center at 305-466-3883.
When school is not in session due to Teacher Planning Days, the City offers a day of fun-filled activities for children ages 5-14 from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Aventura Community Recreation Center.
Each program fee includes all activities, supplies and lunch at a rate of $43 for residents and $52 for non-residents.
*Note: The January 19th and April 20th dates do not follow Miami-Dade County Public School’s updated academic calendar, which excludes these days as Teacher Planning Days. Therefore, the TPD on those dates are available to only students whose school is not in session.
When school is out for spring break, the City of Aventura offers a Mission Impossible themed spring camp and a new science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) camp.
Mission Impossible Spring Camp offers campers ages 5-14 the opportunity to enjoy a variety of games and activities while maneuvering through obstacles and clues to conquer the impossible! Camp includes a field trip to Johnny Rockets GameRoom.
